Our Memorial Day Weekend

Payton and I had a great weekend away from the messy house, unmowed lawn, and just being away for a couple days. We went to Bear Lake with all my family. We had great weather Saturday and Sunday. Monday was wet and rainy all day but hey, it's Memorial Day weekend what do you expect.
Robert's weekend wasn't as relaxing. The first night he woke up with a tooth ache, the next day he was sick all day, the next night he was up again with a tooth ache, then the day we were leaving he was chewing gum and burst something in his sore tooth. Ouch, he said he was in the worst pain he had ever been in his entire life. We got him to the dentist 4 hours ofter the pain started and found out that his resently worked on root canel got infected clear to the bone. He's now drugged up and feeling great! I felt so bad for him, what are you supposed to do with someone with a tooth ache in Bear Lake???
Maybe since this wasn't the best vacation for him I can talk him into another one soon!!!

Ebay has saved our bums this year. With all our money and Robert's time going into his business we've needed (been desperate for) some extra dough. Last summer Robert had the idea to sell motorcycle stuff on ebay. He buys them from one place then sells them on ebay. At first it started as "play money", but quickly became "food on the table money". I never thought I would be using an ebay card to buy diapers!!?!! It's so true that if you live your life right and pay tithing, the Lord will bless you. Even though the pennies may be small some months at least there are pennies there right???

I am so grateful for the law of tithing and know that by living the law, that is what has really saved us.

I just want Robert to know how proud of him I am. He is the best dad and husband any kid or wife could ask for. I want him to know how much I appreciate all his stress and hard work he has gone through this year to support our little growing family. He has dreamed big and taught me that anything can happen if you want it to. Him and his brother started up their own real estate business in January and they already have 18 great employees working for them. His business is growing everyday and I want him to know I am so so so proud of him. He has always told me he was going "to be able" to retire by the age or 30 or 35. You all may be laughing like I always did when he told me, but when Robert has a dream he finds ways to make them come true. (Selfishly, I kinda hope this dream does come true!!!) I just want him to know I am by is side and support him in all that he does. I want him to know that he has already made my biggest dream come true.

My Mother's Day Presents!!!

I got these pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids for my Mother's Day gift and also Payton's kinda 1 year pics. They are so cute. I love them both so much. They are my life. I know it sounds silly of me to go somewhere to get pictures taken when I am trying to get into photography. But let me tell you, I only paid $2.50 for an 8x10, and a 12x8 special picture. If you have never been to Kiddie Kandids and you have one close to you and you want a free 12x8 specilty picture let me know, I have 3 coupons left. (no sitting fee, no nothing, just go, get picture taken, and walk out 10 minutes later with your cute picture for free) I paid $2.50 because I got more than the free 12x8 and I had credit on my account. But you can also have credit there if you go. They will give you 4 coupons to pass out. For every person that brings back on of those coupons, you get a $10 credit for your next visit. Could be a $40 credit if you give out all 4 coupons. But you have to go for your first time to get the 4 coupons to give out. Blah blah blah blah blah, that's how I feel like I'm writing. Ruggedly Handsome

I am getting more and more daring with my camera. I feel like I am starting to control it more than it controls me. I did a whole photo shoot with my little man today and I took about 200 picture and I did not use "Automatic" on my camera once. I am so proud of myself. I don't know if I am doing things right but I am sure satisfied with my pictures. But they are of Payton and he makes anything look good.

What Robert does in his spare time

The truth about what Robert does on his spare time. On Robert's spare time he will go outside and play fetch with our dog Simba. That seems so nice of him but he will throw the toy up in a tree so that Simba can't get it. Yes, this is on purpose! You all have to understand how incredibly obsessed this dog is with "his" rope toy. He will jump and bark for hours, days (if we'd let him) to get this toy down. And Robert will just sit back and laugh at him.

Isn't this some type of pet abuse! I think it is so rude. I should just flaunt something Robert wants really bad in front of him (let say me!?!) and put an obstacle in between him and whatever it is he wants. Then, I would just stand back and laugh at him that no matter how hard he tries, no matter how much he wants it, no matter how much he complains, he is not going to get it. But, seeing that I am so nice and the best wife in the whole wide world I have never and will never do that to him. If he tells you otherwise, he is a liar!!!

Moral of the Story...I've never seen a mean side of Robert and I've always thought he was perfect. Now I know he has at least one flaw, I have witnessed him enjoy the suffering of another.
