Baby update

We went to the doctor yesterday for a regular checkup and for the 30 min. wait to see him for 15 seconds this is what he had to say...

The baby is BIG! Payton was 7 lbs but our doctor thinks this ones gonna be BIG.
I can have the baby either Oct 17th or 21st, anyone have a preference?
The last thing the doctor said was "I'll see you in two weeks"

Me "what?"
Doctor "I'll be seeing you every two weeks now until we go to every week"
Me "you sure?"
Doctor "Yes, we'll see you in two weeks"
Me "really?"
Doctor "yes"
Me "already?"
Doctor "Yes"
Me and Robert "Two weeks already?"
Doctor "Yes, we'll see you in two weeks"

This same conversation went on between me and the receptionist who was scheduling our next appointment.

I don't know about you guys but seeing the Doctor every two weeks already means I'm getting close. I don't feel that close yet.

Our trip to Boise

Robert and I went to Boise, Idaho with my sister Audrie and her family. We went up to visit our sister Mandie and her family.

We first stopped in Burley Idaho to take a tour of my dad's work. He is currently doing the electrical work for a big dry milk factory. He lives in Burley almost 6 days a week and so we don't get to see him much.

Then we got to go on a tour of the new Twin Falls Temple.

When we finally arrived in Boise we went to Chuck-e-cheese. Payton LOVES all the little rides. He especially loves the cars that have a steering wheel for him to hang onto.

We also went to the Boise Zoo. Payton enjoyed the slide the best. At the end of our zoo trip we had to stop in the souvenir shop and buy Payton a prize. We bought him a stuffed animal monkey that he is in love with. I would take a picture of him with it to post but right now it is in bed with him.

We had fun on our mini vacation. We also went swimming, had a picnic, played at a splash pad, and went to a different place kinda like Chuck-e-cheese (because all of our kids absolutely loved it) It was an overall nice, relaxing weekend and the best part of all was to be with Robert for 4 days!!! He has no idea how much of a companion he is to me and I'm seriously not complete without him by my side.

I'm alive

Yesterday I was with the 10 year old scouts from 7:00am to 8:00pm for scout day camp AND...pack meeting. Just thought I would let you all know I somehow survived the day and night with the boys.

Any suggestions on how to get fired from a calling? Robert and I have been trying for over 2 years with this one and nothing is working.

Busy, busy, busy

We've been up to a lot lately and I don't have time to blog about everything:( This weekend we went camping in Green Canyon with our wonderful friends, Chet and Holly, and Nate and Kellie. The girls woke up early and we went to the yard sales. I didn't do well this time around. I am getting picky and if the cloths are $1 they are to much for me to spend. Sad, I know, but I've gotten used to $.50 for cloths. Plus, I think Payton is set on cloths for a long time. Anywho...

after camping we went to the Logan Aquatic Center to swim for the day. It's funny how tired you can get from swimming all day. (sitting in the 1 ft. deep baby pool and not moving at all, yet I felt like I'd swam laps all day) I got toasted, but I enjoy being kissed from the sun. Sorry, you are not lucky enough to see pictures of me in my swimming attire. I "forgot" to take my camera to the pool. -bummer-

The last picture was up at Grandpa and Grandma Campbell's riding their side-by-side 4-wheeler.

Prego update

I just got updated on my pregnancy so I thought I would share. One of my best girlfriends is due the exact same day with her second child too. She informed me this weekend that we are currently 25 weeks along. I never thought it would be possible to not know how far you are but, with Payton and life I kinda get carried away and forget. So, I have about 3 months until "he" arrives. Robert and I are over the "what the crap" stage and onto the "this is for real, we've got to get ourselves ready" stage. We have grown to be excited and can't wait to see if this one is also a mini Robert.

Baby should arrive October 21st via c-section.

Hotdog roast

We had a hotdog roast with family, friends, and neighbors in our backyard. The kids enjoyed playing with the soccer balls and playing with glow-sticks. Then at 10:00pm we all got to watch the Hyrum fireworks from our backyard. With 30 people, this was the biggest, but yet easiest party I've ever thrown. Hotdogs are the way to go!!! Cheap, easy, and fun!
